City Harvest Church joyfully experienced a deeply meaningful and spiritually enriching Easter week, beginning with Palm Sunday on 29th March and culminating in the glorious celebration of Easter Day on 5th April. Throughout this sacred time, the church family gathered in unity, honoring our Lord Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, and acts of love.
The week commenced with a blessed Palm Sunday procession, held in honor of the King of Kings, Jesus Christ. This special gathering reminded us of His triumphant entry into Jerusalem, filling hearts with reverence and gratitude.
On Wednesday, 1st April, the church organized a gifting program for Sunday School children. Approximately 50 school-going children received school stationery as they advanced into new classes. This initiative reflected the church’s commitment to nurturing young lives. We extend heartfelt thanks to all church partners and donors whose generous support made this possible.
Thursday was marked by a beautiful and spiritually uplifting worship night. Renowned classical worship leaders led the congregation into a deep time of praise and adoration. During this sacred gathering, the church also observed the Lord’s Supper, remembering the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with great reverence.
The Good Friday service, held on 3rd April, was a powerful and anointed time of reflection on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Seven church leaders shared short messages on the last words of Christ, bringing profound insight and spiritual encouragement. The service concluded with a time of fellowship, where food and refreshments were lovingly arranged for all members. We sincerely appreciate all collaborators who contributed to this arrangement.
On Easter Day, 5th April, the church gathered early at 4:00 AM for a sunrise service and procession, celebrating the victorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ over the grave, death, and the powers of darkness. Following the procession, the congregation shared breakfast together in joyful fellowship. We are grateful to all who supported the preparation and arrangements.
The celebrations concluded with the main Easter worship service at 11:00 AM, where the church family came together in great number to honor and praise our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ. It was a glorious and uplifting time in the presence of the Lord.
